It came to my attention yesterday that some have been pointing to my videos and saying that I am giving credibility to the anti-Semitic movement, and my fans are part of it as well for watching. I don’t want to cite the sources because I don’t want to give them any more attention.

This originated from a video I made a couple of weeks ago. I was trying to show how crazy the modern world is, specifically some of the services available online. I picked something that seemed absurd to me—That people on Fiverr would say anything for 5 dollars.

I think it’s important to say something and I want to make one thing clear: I am in no way supporting any kind of hateful attitudes.

I make videos for my audience. I think of the content that I create as entertainment, and not a place for any serious political commentary. I know my audience understand that and that is why they come to my channel.  Though this was not my intention, I understand that these jokes were ultimately offensive.

As laughable as it is to believe that I might actually endorse these people, to anyone unsure on my standpoint regarding hate-based groups: No, I don’t support these people in any way.

you’re not fucking special and you need to stop

THERE IS A REASON WHY HE INTRODUCES HIMSELF AS JACK AND REFERS AS HIMSELF IN JACK IN LITERALLY ALL OF HIS VIDEOS

its because “Sean” is what his family and ACTUAL FRIENDS call him. not a bunch of fans who think that they’re so special and unique because they call jack by his REAL name. 

he’s even SAID that it makes him uncomfortable, so why do you do it? 

like, don’t get me wrong, i get what it’s like to feel like you’re really close to a youtuber but i got bad news for you

it’s a sad reality that everyone has to come to terms with unless you wanna become one of those super creepy, obsessive, and eventually straight up cancerous fans. 

because the reality is that there’s NO WAY that he can be friends with 14 million fucking people. its literally impossible. 

just… call him jack. you don’t need to call him sean. we get it, you’re a dedicated fan who knows that his REAL name is Sean WIlliam McLaughlin. congratulations. 

He honestly doesn’t care what you call him though. It just helps him know where you know him from. Is it a big deal? Nope. It’s just his name and if someone is more comfortable calling him Sean, then so be it. Doesn’t make them a bad person or more ‘dedicated’ or anything like that. 

We’re all just here to have a good time ad watch his videos. :) 

First of all, this is rude and not the kind of content this community needs or wants.  This is a COMMUNITY, where people are not excluded or made to feel bad about themselves.  If you post something that does either of those things, you are going directly against what Jack wants for the community.

And Jack has SPECIFICALLY SAID that he DOES NOT MIND whether you call him “Jack” or “Sean”.  I PERSONALLY call him Jack because I feel like it’s more appropriate FOR ME because I don’t know him.  But that’s MY PERSONAL thing.  Jack himself doesn’t mind which you call him, so that’s the “rule” that stands.

The Darkiplier parts were actually really quite interesting. Of course we all know that Dark is supposed to be the opposite of Mark: angry, evil, possibly even heartless, etc. But I couldn’t help but notice in the way Dark spoke to us/ about us while he took over Mark in certain parts of the date. He seemed angry only at Mark for keeping him contained and keeping us all to himself. It seemed that Dark really wanted to get to know us, make us happy, and possibly even care for us. (Ex: The way he said it could give us everything and supplied a dinner for us.) But since he is “dark”, he doesn’t know how to express his feelings for us other than saying things like: “We’ll be together forever.”
Also putting us in difficult situations like making us decide which Mark to shoot. Dark COULD have came up and confessed that he is Dark, but he didn’t because he knew if he did that, we would choose Mark, and leave him behind. So, he let his fate fall into our hands. Either have the real Mark be shot, and get the chance he has been waiting for to be with us. Or get shot so that he doesn’t have to live with the pain knowing that we will always be with/ choose Mark.

I don’t know if I’m thinking too deeply into this, but it’s interesting to think about is it not?

What I also notice is that Dark seemed more concerned about you when you shot Mark. He says “Come here, come here. Its ok, its ok. I’m so sorry. You had to kill somebody. I feel so bad. But hey, it’s ok. We’re here now and we can continue the date with some ice cream..”

While if you shot Dark then Mark goes, “You made the right call. Come here. Im so sorry. You had to kill somebody! But glad you’re taking it in strive now lets get back to the date.”

Dark said “its ok” three times. Even the little “I feel so bad” part threw me off when I first heard it and found out it was Dark. I couldn’t tell if he said what he said to throw us off then go “Wassup bitch. Im baaaack~” or if he was generally concerned for us for a second there.

I speak for everyone on the team when I say that I’m completely blown away by the loving response to the video. It’s beyond all of our expectations and we’re so happy that you guys are enjoying the crap out of it!

It’s been a long week of sleepless nights to get this ready for Valentine’s Day so today I’m going to be taking it easy and spending the day with Amy. There will be a return to the normal video schedule by tomorrow but for now it’s time to unwind after the marathon of the past week. Thank you all again for the nonstop support, there will be a charity livestream this Saturday, and expect more cool stuff like this in the future!
